Among the inductees was Rembolt Ludtke partner Tara Paulson . Tara (Tesmer) Paulson was a standout tennis and volleyball student-athlete during her time at Lincoln Southeast. She was a tennis state champion in 2002, as well as a runner-up in 2003. Tara was a four-year starter for the volleyball team. Tara won all-state and super-state awards for her contributions to the volleyball team and held several schools records for blocking and hitting. Her high school coaches noted she was a tireless worker on the court as well as a smart player. Kathi Wieskamp, Head Volleyball Coach at Southeast during Tara’s tenure, stated, “Tara was one of those players with an internal drive to develop herself and the team. She was both a passionate and fierce competitor> however, she never forgot to have fun in whatever she did. Tara was a great leader and positive teammate, definitely one of those players you love to coach and have on your team.” Tara’s tennis coach, Head Tennis Coach Tim Tidball said, “Tara was a unique student-athlete that brought natural athleticism, a consistent work-ethic, genuine leadership and a sincere love of family, team, and life.”The same work-ethic, leadership, and competitive spirit that helped Tara be successful on the tennis and volleyball courts have also made her a successful litigator and advisor for her clients. She is a valued partner at Rembolt Ludtke, and the firm is pleased to see her accomplishments recognized through her induction into the LSE Athletic Hall of Fame.
