State awards $23M in water quality loans to Iowa communities

Eighteen Iowa communities will receive a combined $23.1 million in low-interest water quality loans from the state.

The Iowa Finance Authority and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources this week announced the recipients of the State Revolving Fund loans, which help Iowa cities with drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The loan amounts range from $5.7 million for the city of Woodward to $70,000 for the city of Conrad.
