Spring groundwater levels down slightly in Central Platte NRD

Static groundwater levels in the Central Platte Natural Resources District (CPNRD) are down 0.31 feet compared to groundwater levels in 1982, according to the Central Platte NRD’s spring 2018 groundwater report.

The report was given Thursday by Luke Zakrewski, CPNRD’s GIS image analyst. He gave the results to the Central Platte Natural Resources District’s directors at their Thursday board meeting in Grand Island.

Groundwater levels are measured annually from mid-April to mid-June.
