For the past few years, members of Rembolt Ludtke’s Agricultural Practice Group have attended, and even presented at, the American Agricultural Law Association (AALA) Annual Educational Symposium, which convenes attorneys and other professionals at a different location around the country each year. This Symposium has offered attorneys in the Ag Practice Group the opportunity to meet and learn from their counterparts from around the country and to stay plugged into the major issues facing not only our state, but the agricultural industry on a national scale. Several other legal professionals from Nebraska also attend this event. This exposure and engagement with challenging legal issues facing the agricultural industry through attending this conference has enhanced the capacity of our attorneys to better meet the legal needs of Nebraska’s farmers, ranchers, and rural agricultural businesses. In the past, Rembolt Ludtke Attorney Mark Fahleson , who is a member of the firm’s Agricultural Practice Group, has presented at the Symposium on employment law issues facing agriculture nationwide. The 2019 AALA Symposium is scheduled for November 7-9, 2019 in Washington D.C.
