Any decisions regarding the Lower Elkhorn Natural Resources District helping to fund Norfolk's Riverfront Trail project won't be made until at least July.
There was considerable discussion on the subject at the regular monthly meeting on Thursday, however, regarding the possibility of the NRD putting up $1 million toward the project.
Mike Sousek, general manager of the NRD, initially said he had received a lot of questions from the public regarding the budget and the cost of the NRD's prospective involvement in the project with the City of Norfolk.
