The NRD’s expertise, seed and equipment combined with a tract of land and irrigation water provided by the City of York is resulting in an innovative project straight east of the York Ballpark Complex.
Project GROW was ceremonially opened with a proper ribbon cutting, complete with the obligatory clutch of dignitaries, Thursday evening of last week.
The overreaching object of Project GROW is to enrich soils over the city’s municipal wellfield and to do likewise with the plants that grow there.
