The Hemingford Ledger :
Until the Hemingford Board of Education got to “Water Usage” on the agenda Monday night’s meeting ran smoothly. However, when Superintendent Charles Isom told the board the city is saying they used over 5.5 million gallons of water between May to September concerns quickly rose.[…]All the board members rose concerns about the amount of water the city is saying the school used. Questions were raised about where the meter is and how so much water could be used.Isom suggested putting together a committee to set down with the city and discuss the issue. The Board agreed and Isom said “I’ll get a hold of them (the city) and we will work through this.”
