City officials are asking residents to limit water usage through Saturday night so the sanitary sewer system can catch up.
Heavy rains this week — about 6 inches over the last few days — have caused high flows into the sewer system. All that extra water is putting extra stress on the system.
All systems are performing well, said Trent Lubbers with Public Works, but the city is just looking to slow down water usage.
