Central Iowa town's residents warned not to drink water after high levels of manganese discovered

Residents of Bagley in Guthrie County have been warned not to drink tap water after unsafe levels of manganese were discovered in their public supply. And it's unclear when the water will be OK to drink.

The town of about 300 people, approximately 60 miles northwest of Des Moines, issued a public notice Friday to stop consuming the water, according to a news release from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
