On April 26, 2019, the Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools Foundation presented the Young Alumnus of the Year award to Rembolt Ludtke partner Sheila Bentzen . Each year the Foundation honors alumni for outstanding contributions they have made to society.
“I’ve reflected on the values that Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools instilled in me, and, the more I thought about it, the more I came to the certain conclusion that the foundation for my success started with my education at Ashland-Greenwood,” Bentzen recalled. “And, by success, I don’t just mean my career or my job title, though that’s certainly part of it. I mean who I am as a person and how I have taken the values I learned as a student and use them as a lawyer, as a mom, as a wife, and as a community member. The reason I credit Ashland-Greenwood for my success is because teachers taught me three core values: passion, confidence, and persistence.”
Sheila was recognized for her academic achievements as well as her contributions to the Lincoln and Ashland communities. Sheila's commitment to the betterment of our community is an inspiration, and the firm extends its congratulations to her for this recognition.
