Alyssa P. Martin joined Rembolt Ludtke as an associate attorney in 2017 focusing on intellectual property, complex litigation, and business transactions. Prior to joining Rembolt, Ms. Martin clerked for Judge David Barron on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and honed her entrepreneurial skills at a Silicon Valley law firm, where she practiced startup and securities law. Alyssa graduated with honors from Harvard Law School in 2014, where she served as Articles Co-Chair for the Harvard Law Review and worked as a teaching assistant for an online copyright course. Prior to law school Ms. Martin graduated with distinction from Stanford University, where she studied International Relations, Human Biology, and Religious Studies. Alyssa is a Lincoln native who attended Southwest High School.
Jaydon McDonald Pence—also a Lincoln, Nebraska native—joined Rembolt Ludtke as an associate attorney after completing a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Stephanie Stacy of the Nebraska Supreme Court. She received a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and psychology with high distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Nebraska Law Review. Ms. McDonald Pence graduated from the Nebraska College of Law with highest distinction and as a member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. McDonald Pence’s practice will focus on the areas of labor and employment law and civil litigation.
Anthony M. Aerts, who grew up on his family’s farm near Brainard, Nebraska, also joined Rembolt Ludtke as an associate attorney. He received a degree in Public Policy from Stanford University and lived and worked in California for several years before returning home to Nebraska in 2012. After working as a state lobbyist, Anthony attended and graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law with high distinction. Anthony will split time between Rembolt Ludtke’s Seward and Lincoln offices building a practice encompassing water law, estate, tax, and business planning, agriculture law, and regulatory compliance. His experience and interest in business startups will be of particular benefit to entrepreneurs.
Also joining Rembolt Ludtke as an associate attorney is Max L. Rodenburg. A Lincoln native, Mr. Rodenburg received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While pursuing his undergraduate degree and serving as President of his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Mr. Rodenburg also obtained his real estate license and worked full-time as a realtor for Nebraska Home Sales. After a successful stint in real estate, Mr. Rodenburg attended the University of Nebraska College of Law where he graduated with highest distinction, served as class president, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. At Rembolt Ludtke, Mr. Rodenburg’s law practice focuses primarily on the areas of estate, business, and tax planning, and he is passionate about helping his clients achieve their personal and professional goals. He has deep ties to the Lincoln community and enjoys serving on the board of directors for numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Clyde Malone Community Center and Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters.
