Bike to Work Day Spotlight: Lisa Pedersen

Posted in Events, News

I love being active, especially in the morning. It gives me the energy and mental focus to make it through the work day.

Bike to Work Day is a great way to interact with co-workers in an active way that I would not normally get to have. The friendly competition between everyone is an added bonus.

— Lisa Pedersen, Legal Executive Assistant at Rembolt Ludtke

Helping others maintain energy and focus through an active and healthy lifestyle is important to us, which is why we partnered with UNICO Group to encourage everyone in Lincoln to take part in Bike to Work Day 2017. As Lisa said, friendly competition is an added bonus, and we have terrific prizes from this year’s donors to raffle off.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Ameritas, Eyecare Associates, Cottonwood Cafe, Cycle Works, the YMCA, PowerCycle, and Kitchen Sink Cookie Company again for their generosity with donating prizes. We are looking forward to donating the proceeds to Lincoln Bike Kitchen to help people of all ages in Lincoln become part of our incredible cycling culture.
