Anthony focuses his practice on estate and succession planning, real estate, probate and trust work, businesses services, and legal matters generally affecting the agricultural industry. Raised on a Nebraska grain and livestock farm, Anthony understands the meaning of hard work and importance of community and splits his time between the Firm's Lincoln and Seward offices. He has extensive experience helping clients achieve success in complex transactions through his attention to detail and empathy in arriving at practical solutions. Prior to joining the Firm, Anthony studied public policy and economics at Stanford University, worked as a policy analyst for an international law firm, lobbied at the State Capitol for the Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation, and continued to lend a hand on his family’s farm as time permitted. Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife and family, and reading, running, fishing, and traveling.

  • Settled complex post-death estate and trust administrations for estates exceeding $40 million with assets, including estate with assets located throughout several countries.
  • Represented large farm and ranch operations and closely-held family businesses with assets in excess of $100 million in developing and executing estate and succession planning to protect family assets, minimize tax liability, and achieve intergenerational transfers.
  • Assisted clients in executing complex business planning formations and real estate sales and acquisitions of high-value agricultural and commercial properties.
  • Helped taxpayer clients execute complex forward and reverse 1031 real estate exchanges across multiple states resulting in a multi-million dollar reduction in capital gains tax exposure.
