Andy's practice is focused on government relations, tourism, and broadband with an emphasis on rural economic development. An alumnus of a one-room country school in Keith County and current resident of rural Seward County, Andy has a passion for helping rural Nebraskans. He represents local broadband providers across the state and has been instrumental in helping them provide farmers and ranchers with access to reliable and affordable high-speed Internet services. Pollock spends considerable time in western Nebraska, including the Panhandle and Sandhills. Professionally and personally, he has been an active proponent of Nebraska as a tourist destination. He co-founded and continues to operate the Sandhills Marathon, which attracts runners from across the United States and internationally. Pollock is a novelist and published author, whose works feature Nebraska and Native American history. His strengths include ideation and connectedness. He has a proven track record of creative and strategic collaboration. For example, Andy’s work lobbying for and leading negotiations on 2015 agritourism legislation was praised by The Omaha World-Herald as “a useful example of how patient, collaborative lawmaking can overcome complications and tackle a difficult issue.”
