The University of Nebraska has announced the election of Rembolt Ludtke partner Tim Clare as vice chair of the Board of Regents. Clare, a Regent representing District 1, was elected to the Board in 2008 and re-elected in 2014. He served as vice chair in 2012 and chair in 2013.
“Every January the Board of Regents elects a vice chair for the calendar year, that person then serves as chair the following year,” Clare said. “Rob Schaefer assumed the position of chair and I was elected as vice chair. I am humbled and honored to serve in this role for the Board of Regents and earnestly appreciate my colleagues for choosing me to fill this position.”
The standing rules of the Board provide for the vice chair of the Board to automatically succeed the chair for the following term.
